I had the pleasure of meeting Melvin Brown at a Farmer's Market in Hayden, ID. All it took was a few minutes of talking to him and knew I'd love his book, which I did. It's a laugh out loud, feel good read. Melvin just may be the best author in North Idaho, maybe even the whole state!
This book was so refreshing with memories of life in a simpler time, memories of the author's childhood on his grandparents' Idaho farm. It not only tickled the funnybone, but also gave some great ways to teach young people ways to make their life better even when they seem determined to end their lives in pursuit of fun! It is a truly enjoyable read and I highly recommend it.

I found it not very interesting, not my kind of book. Was recommended to me by my son
